The Turnpike Geotechnical Group
encompasses the following services:

• Discuss scope of work and negotiate staff hours with geotechnical consultants.  
• Review geotechnical and foundation design work performed by design consultants.
• Conduct geotechnical investigations on structure foundations, stability of embankment slopes, retaining walls, sinkholes, and ponds etc.
• Provide technical assistance to construction and maintenance projects on geotechnical and foundation issues.Concrete construction project reviews.
• Communicate and coordinate with central office on specification/procedure changes, geotechnical research, and other statewide geotechnical issues.
